Understanding a family’s routines and entertaining preferences is the key in planning the range of spaces needed for preparing and eating meals. The kitchen of a homeowner who enjoys cooking is designed differently than for one who does not. While a counter with barstools is a practical answer for eating on the fly, a breakfast table—either instead or in addition—may be preferable for facilitating conversation or spreading out a newspaper. Our dining spaces successfully address the precise requirements of each client.
